2.0 movie features Rajinikanth playing the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, whereas Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Adil Hussain and Riyaz Khan are playing the supporting roles.

2.0 movie Story: 2.0 Movie is based in Chennai where mobiles phones starts to disappear because of a deadly bird Pakshi Raju (Akshay Kumar). The government is cluless what this is all about and orders Vaseegaran (Ranjikanth) to bring back Chitti to handle the giant bird. But Pakshi Raju kills Chitti . Later Vaseegaran’s personal robot Vennela(Amy Jackson) creates a new version of Chitti and sends it to fight with Pakshi Raju. What happens next, form the rest of the story on 2.0 movie.

Performance: Rajinikanth surprises the audiences with his enthusiasm. In 2.0 movie, he plays different characters and does justice to each one of them. The 2.0 version in which he comes up is on another level. Rajinikanth’s style and mannerisms are highlighted. The presence of Akshay Kumar is one of the major asset of 2.0 movie. Akshay Kumar as evil man elevates the film to another level. Amy Jackson is just ok. Rest of the cast justify with their roles.
2.0 movie Technical: 2.0 is packed with a technical brilliance. There is nothing special in the storyline but the social message to save the birds and negative effects of radiation from mobile phone are highlighted. The Cinematography work is astonishing. The production design of the film is just world class. The production values of Lyca Productions are top notch. VFX work especially in the climax proves that Indian cinema is not behind Hollywood films .
2.0 movie Analysis: Worth watching in 3D. The good vs evil concept and Akshay Kumar’s flashback, climax are highlightes. 2.0 movie is one is a terrific comeback by Shankar after two mediocre films.
