Danayya gets GST Shock : Rs 8 Cr loss- Vinaya Vidheya Rama Effect: Vinaya Vidheya Rama starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer is running successfully at the box office. But now according to the latest update, due to lack of GST knowledge, producer DVV Danayya is going to incur a loss of 8 Cr on his recently released production ventuer Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Generally the GST charges are borne by the distributors who collect it from theater exhibitors. In the case of Vinaya Vidheya Rama, UV Creations bagged the Telugu states’s rights on condition that the GST will be paid by the producer DVV Danayya and as the producer did not have much knowledge about GST, became agree and he sold out the rights of Vinaya Vidheya Rama for Rs 70 Cr. Now DVV Danayya has to play Rs 8 Cr from his own pocket.
It is heard that as Ram Charan starrer Vinaya Vidheya Rama is doing decent collections in both Telugu States, UV creations will face losses of only Rs 5 Cr.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was arrived at the theaters on 11th January 2019 and received negative response by the movie lovers and critics from everywhere. Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is playing the female lead whereas Vivek Oberoi is essaying a villain.
