Story: Set in the Kolar Gold Fields in the 1980s, Rocky (Yash) is an ambitious boy, who wants become richest and most powerful man because that is his mother’s last wish. . He starts his mission from the streets of Bombay to the fields of KGF. Will he fulfill his dream? To get this answer, one should watch the movie on silver screen.
Performance: Young orphan Ramakrishna heads to Bombay from Karnataka, polishes shoes for living and slowly grows up the ranks of city’s underworld to become don Rocky. Yash as Rocky carries the film on his shoulders. He is the heart and soul of KGF. The way Prashanth Neel has packaged KGF certainly deserves applause.
Analysis: One of the major highlights of KGF is its content and dialogues. The dialogues are meaningful. The visuals and BGM are good. The 1st half is filled with crowd pleasing moments. Few elevation scenes give goosebumps and every scene is gripping. The editing is neat. The director has presented Yash as a super hero and he looks damn convincing in Action sequence. The cinematography is top notch and production values are good.
