Samantha Miss Granny Remake: Samantha Akkineni and Nandini Reddy have started the shoot of their upcoming project, the remake of Korean movie Miss Granny. According to the latest buzz, Samantha will be seen playing dual role in this remake. The actress has confirmed that she has started the new journey of Miss Granny.
Samantha took to her twitter and wrote, “Prepping for my most interesting charecter yet … I’ve realised I get scared a lot , I am nervous all the time ,but I have never not accepted a challenge . Sometimes ,actually most times you are stronger than you think you are .. #new beginnings.”
Nandini Reddy also revealed that she has started the shoot of Miss Granny remake via her tweet, “A new journey begins today with a fabulous cast and crew…… my theory is that if I have fun making this, then you will enjoy watching it…… so all set to have a blast ….. Movie number 4 …. here goes.”
The remake of Miss Granny will be directed by Nandini Reddy and produced by Suresh Babu, in association with Sunitha Tati of Guru Films.
Samantha Akkineni, the talented and hardworking actress has number of movies in her kitty. She was last seen in her Tamil / Telugu bilingual U Turn, directed by Pawan Wadeyar, which was decent hit at the box office. U Turn revolves around the mystery behind the death of motorists who die after breaking traffic rules on a particular flyover in Bengaluru.
On the otherside, Samantha is also sharing the screen space with her hubby Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for upcoming romantic and family entertainer Maliji.
